At Double Dragon Kenpo Karate we host a variety of classes. Classes are divided by age but are all based on the same curriculum from the Parker/Planas Lineage Kenpo.
Student's will learn to defend themselves from different threats such as bullying, assault and assault with a deadly weapon.
Students will also be exposed to Eskrima (a Filipino Stick System) were students can further their self defense training with rattan (bamboo) sticks and knives.
Double Dragon also hosts a variety of seminars annually featuring some of the top Martial Artists from around the world.
Students can also participate in Dojo organized events such as Movie Night, Bingo Night and Field Trips.

Adult ClassesDouble Dragon curriculum is based off the Ed Parker American Kenpo System. It is a belt system were students will learn self defense techniques associated with the belt ranking. Students will learn on average one new technique a week. Once they have obtained all the requirements for their next belt a test date will be established.
Adult classes are also exposed and are at times incorporated with Eskrima for weapons training. |
Kids ClassesDouble Dragon curriculum is based off the Ed Parker American Kenpo System. The students attending the Kids Classes will learn the same curriculum taught in the Adult Class. However, it will be tailored to individuals with a younger mindset. Kenpo is a belt system, students will learn one new technique every week in order to help meet the belt requirements. Students in the Kids Class will test for Full and Half Belt rankings.
